George was married to a Dorothy (maiden name unknown).
Their son George Joseph Pike left Ireland for Sydney, Australia in late 1863, on the Hotspur. He was a Schoolmaster onborad the boat.
I am trying to find any other siblings & more information on George & Dorothy (possibly Dora).
They were living in Cootehill, County Cavan when George left for Ireland.
There are Death Transcripts for a George Pike in Cootehill dying 28/6/1865 aged 84 & a Dora Pike Death Transcript in Cootehill dying 1873 aged 81.
If anyone has any more info on the family, it would be much appreciated.
