  • I have a death certificate for John Levins b1808 d 1868 in Bailieborough, Cavan; a pensioner, sister Mary present at death. I also have his son Jas George Levins b 1856 Bailieborough d 1882 Bailieborough; a police constable who served in Galway. I have created a tentative family tree for them in Ancestry trying to link the Levins together. Strange that George Babington should marry in this parish, perhaps it was where his mother originated?
