Henry Gorman is my 2nd Great-grandfather. He was born circa 1827 and lived in Ballymote. He was married to Elizabeth "Eliza" Gillmore (1842-1916); they married on 13 November 1865. Their daughter, Anetta Elizabeth Gorman (b 8 Apr 1885 in Ballymote; d 27 February 1924, in Romford, Essex, England) married my great-grandfather, Thomas Francis Smyth (b. 15 August 1878 in Abbeyleix, Laois, Ireland; d. 21 February 1951, in Barnet, Essex, England) on 29 November 1909.
I am not sure of Henry's father's name. Some records I have found show "David", another shows "Francis". Since there were quite a number of Gorman's in Ballymote, I'm not sure of which family is his birth family. Eliza's father was William Gillmore, but I can't find information regarding her mother & family, either.
