Henry married Fanny Owen in Enniscorthy in 1874.
A son, Henry died as an infant approx 1880 in Wexford.
They emmigrated with their children Thomas, William Andrew, Sarah Anne, Margaret and Henry in 1886, to Sydney Australia.
They had further children once settled in Sydney - Eliza Jane, Dorcas and Letitia Owen, all died as infants.

Henry remarried after Fanny died to Martha Lillian Farlow in 1902. This was a tumultuous marriage, ending with Henry in jail in 1913.
Henry died on 2 August 1922, at Woollahra, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
He is buried at Randwick General Cemetery in an unmarked gravesite
