I have no information on the mother of my great grandfather except that my g-grandfather Anthony Philip Coyne listed Nora O'Keefe as his mother on his death certificate. We know that his father John Coyne remarried Bridget Sullivan in Cloonluane, Letterfrack, Renvyle, Galway around 1863. Anthony was born between 1855-1858. I visited Cloonluane recently and the O'Keefes are not a known family in the area. A friend found O'Keefes and Coynes around Clifden, and I am wondering if John and Nora could have met and married in Clifden. She may have died between 1855-1863. John then returned to Cloonluane near his birth place of Ardnagreevah and remarried Bridget in 1863. Anthony may have other full siblings who I am trying to find. His silbings may have emigrated and stayed in England. Anthony emigrated to the U.S. and died in Chicago in 1941. He raised my father. I am in touch with the descendents of his half siblings from Cloonluane but nobody has heard of Nora O'Keefe.
