Hugh McGough born around 1817 in southern County Monaghan. Killanny or Magheracloone Parish. They were combined Parish at one time.
The only records I have found with him is the birth of his 1st daughter Mary McGough (June 17, 1846) in Magheracloone Parish books. His wife Mary Halfpenny (b. 1821). No other Irish records, except a possible Tithe Appt. 1834. Townland Corradoran Killanny Parish Louth.
Emigated to USA during Famine 1849. Settled in Lake Erie area. Milan Ohio
