Place of migration
Stayed in Ireland

Most of my source information that I have for Isaac and his brothers George and Joseph and from army records. All of them fought in the Peninsula Wars (against Napoleon). They all put Bruff, Limerick as place of birth. The only Riggs who is on property and parish records in Bruff is Thomas and his family. The largest land holder of these in the mid 19th century appears to be Thomas' son William Nash Riggs. Isaac ended up in Tullamore, County Offaly after he got out of the army and died there. His son Joseph, born 1840, married Mary Gorman, daughter of Joseph Gorman and Eliza Doolan,  in Tullamore in 1863. They had 9 children there, all of whom moved to different parts of Ireland, England, Scotland, and Argentina. One of those was my grandfather.
