     ISAAC  WALTON was  born in OLDCASTLE, Meath,  about 1788.  Military records show that he was discharged in 1811, aged 23, possibly from Kilmainham Hospital, Dublin. He appears to have returned home to the Oldcastle area, and later records, a daughter’s marriage many years later, suggest he may have resided in the Loughcrew area, this marriage occurring in 1854.
