James Camblin was my 3rd great-grandfather. There is no information about who his parents were but he was born in about 1815 according to his age on the 1901 census and his death. DNA links of descendants to descendants of other Camlin/Camblin families who lived in Ballinderry, Antrim; Rathfriland, Down; Drumballyroney, Down; Lackin, Down. His marriage to Sarah McCallan took place at the Tandragee Presbyterian Church on 6 August 1842 - he was from the townland of Cornascribe.  The baptisms of their children took place at the same church and by the time of the baptisms in 1856 they had moved to the townland of Derryhale. James Camlin was listed as renting a house and land at Derryhale in the Griffith's Valuation list of about 1865. By 1901 they were living in the village of Laurelvale (house number 97), James working as an agricultural labourer. He died at Tamnaghelton in 1903 and Sarah the following year.
