James Donovan was born sometime between 1800 and 1810. I don't know where or who his parents were. I do know he married Julia Hennessey-1823 parents John and Margaret Peggy Collins in Enneskeane in 1838. He moved to Bantry and had a number of children there starting in 1839. In 1858, he and Julia were back in Enneskeane where my great grandfather Michael Henry Donovan was born. The family immigreated to NYC in 1870.
