James O' Dwyer of Kilteely, Co. Limerick was born Aug 8, 1848 to Edmond Dwyer and Margaret Dillon in Pallasgreen, Dromeenboy, He married Catherine Ryan on Aug 29, 1871. they had 9 children:Mary, Margaret, Brridget, Catherine, Johanna, James, Edmond, and Michael. James died at age 74 on Sept 30, 1922 and is buried in Ballinlough Cemetery, Co. Limerick.

James had a brother Patrick b. 1845 married Margaret Scully; Michael b. 1847 went to USA and Married Catherine Gleeson; , Peter b. 1852 married Marie Gleeson, John, b. 1856,; Edmond, b. 1859 went to USA married Mary Ryan McCarthy;; and John, b. 1863 - no marriage records.
