James Neville migrated to the United States of America in the spring of 1846 during the Irish potatoe famine. He made his way from County Tyrone to Liverpool, England, were he sailed for the United States. As a new immigrant he met and married Margaret Duncan, who had been born in Maryland or Delaware co PA in 1829. They were married first lived in Delaware co. Pa, where their first three sons were born. George Richard, Samuel Elliot and James Allen. I have not been able to locate his parents.
