This is the obituary of my Great Grand father James Shea (born Otober 1835 - died September 26, 1894).
The obit says he was born in Roscommon in Moore parish. I believe he emigrated to the United States in June 1857 with his sister margaret age 14.
I have been searching for his parents with no luck.
Perhaps smepne at this site could help.
