Born in 1901 in Cloughjordan Jim was a premium Farrier of his time having won the Medal for Farriery at The Famous Royal Dublin Show on 1935. Jim lived at Main Street Cloughjordan for. Where he ran hi business. Married Annie Ryan on 1947 the had 5 children. Jim died at home aged 68 after a long illness.
