Thank you Bill for taking the time to look up this information. Timothy is my grandfather. I have been a long searching for any hints as to who were James and Sarah's parents. When I was last in Skibereen, I met the late Paddy O'Shea who told me the Sullivans were part of the Mor Clan but have yet to find any hint as to who his parents are. Regarding Sarah's parents, we know her mother was Mary Coughlan as she was the midwife for for the birth of Mary Ellen - but no sign of her thereafter. It is thought that her father was Abraham Burhchill - they were never married.
