Migrated to /Born in Canada
Just starting to search family history and preparing to visit Ireland in 2025, which will include visiting related family homeland. The only family search information I have ends with James Thomas Rourke, born 1785 in Rushin, Offerlane Civil Parish, Queen's County (Laois), Leinster Province, married Margaret Abraham circa 1816 at this same parish. Between 1816 and 1819, they emigrated to Canada and homesteaded in St. Gabriel du Valcartier in Quebec, Canada. I have subscribed to Roots Ireland but have not found any related history.
