I have found only 1 possible set of parents for James online. That would be William Wall and Mary Farrell. I'm not convinced that this is correct, however the parents names, birth year and the county are correct. When James arrived in the United States he came to Newburyport, Massachusetts where he worked as a shoemaker. He met and married Maria Breen aka Brien. He followed the shoe trade to Stoneham, Massachusetts and eventually settled in Boston where he worked as a marble polisher. He and Maria raised six children -five boys and 1 girl. His sons were named in order ofarrival, Francis Henry, Benjamin James, Robert Emmett, Joseph William and Frederick  Leonard. Perhaps the names of his sons will help match him to the correct family?

I am his great great granddaughter by his son Frederick. My father was also Frederick.
