Jane FULTON was born between 1808-1820, her parents being Robert & Jane Lorimer (nee ANDERSON) FULTON, farmers of Collinward, Carnmoney parish near Belfast in Co. Antrim.  Robert died in 1837 and his wife Jane died in 1846.  Daughter Jane had at least one brother Samuel (c1800-1862), and at least two sisters.  The MORROW family seems to have been significant in the Fultons' lives.

Jane married Hamilton QUINN on 1 April 1851 or 1857 at St Anne's Parish Church, Belfast.  (Church of Ireland).   She may have been considerably older than Hamilton.  On 9 July 1865 Jane & Hamilton  departed from Gravesend, England on the "Queen of the Colonies".  They arrived in Brisbane, Australia where they lived until 1870 when they moved to the Auckland region of New Zealand where they settled, Hamilton a farmer.  It appears that they did not have a family.  (It is Hamilton's second wife, Rebecca DOHERTY who is my great grandmother).

I need to learn more about the Fulton and Morrow families in Northern Ireland.
