Jane Quin : Short Biography

my maternal grandmother was Jane Quin. She married Robert McCall in Sunderland, England in 1889. The marriage cretificate gives her age as 24, ie dob 1865 and her Father's name as Richard Quin, Occupation Gentleman. I beleive that he was also the "Master of a Benevolent Institution", perhaps in New Zealand or Australia.

I have searched formany hours but have been unable to find any Irish records for either Jane of her Father. I have been able to trace, through British records the names of her sister Rosanna (dob approx 1860, died  Sunderland, UK, February 1939) and her Mother  Norah, dob 1836.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
