My DNA shows matches to descendants of Nicholas Bernard Sinnot and Johanna Brady, farmers in Ballmadder, Bannow. This proves they are my 3rd great grandparents.

There are also possible links to John Colfer, farmer, Bannow.  He could be my great great grandfather, but I have been unable to find any birth records for my great grandfather.

  •  I was in Bannow in June 2018 as my Connors and Kelly family lines are from there (I think). I noticed the Colfer name; the pub is Colfer's. I was interested because a headstone there has a Mary Connors dying in 1846 age 64 who was married to  Patrick Colfer dying in 1849 age 75. Lots of other family info on the headstone.  But a gap in what you need. There was another Colfer headstone for a Moses passing in 1935 aged 77 years. I have pictures if that would help-not sure how to do this on this site.  My vague imptrerssion was that there were lots of Colfer monuments. I also visited the older church on Bannow Island. I have not had many DNA matches but I'll check again and re-post if find anything.
