John Duffy : Short Biography

John Duffy Born Tombohola circa 1800 Moved to hull Yorkshire after 1851 with wife Harriet (unknown) And children all born in Tomboholla or Aghmore Between 1833 and 1846 Mary, Margaret, Hannah, Ellen, Catherine, John and Patrick My grt grandmother was 2nd daughter Margaret born 1833-36 and she Married Walter lowery in Hull 2nd Nov 1854 Their first child Mary b 1856 was my second great grandmother

It could be that john was a widower because if born 1801 he probably married 1821 then to wait 10 years to have children then have 6 of them is unusual There is a 7th child a Mary Duffy born 1833 in Aghamore who does not travel to England so she was probably married and remained in Ireland
