John Fahy/Fahey was born c1814 in or near the town of Ballinasloe. He had siblings as follows; Thomas, Patrick Bridget that I know of. He married Honorah Kiely who had a daughter from a previous marriage to John Kiely. Her maiden name was Keenan and she had a brother Patrick I believe.
John and Honorah emigrated to Australia in 1841 and settled in Geelong and then Kyneton in Victoria.
