Grandpa John Gallagher was born May 7th, 1870 to (Condy) Cornelius Gallagher and Bridget Carr from Grennan's I believe. If I have the right Bridget Carr marriage. Or I may just be lost. His birth is in Carrick, Ardara Ireland. Married Mary Mchugh in 1908 in Donegal Ireland. Her father was James McHugh death 1904. Mother was Margaret McGinley. John and Mary came to the US after marriage, had their 1st son in Holly Springs Mississippi, not sure of the family relations they were there with. Then they went on to Memphis Tennessee where we believe John was before he returned home to Ireland and Married. They had 3 daughters in Memphis. 2 passed as babies. John was a fireman and was one of the men in the 1st firehouse there now a museum. he also owned a small store. He also sold things in the street of his wagon. They then moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where they had a total of 10 children. They passed here.
