John Hagan : Short Biography

My gg grandfather John, his wife Sarah Ann and sons John and Benjamin (b 1848) were the only Hagan family living in Ballybay, County Monaghan during the mid 19th century. John was a master baker and publican. Sarah Ann was a dressmaker,

Benjamin joined the 13th Hussars for 20 years from January 1866 and lived then married Mary Snape. They lived in Everton, Liverpool and had a son, Benjamin (b 24 January 1888), my grandfather.
