This is all I know about John Hayes and Mary McShane. There was another John Hayes living in Loughgal at the same time. Who died much earlier.
John hayes was born about 1807 or 1830 depending on the records, could the 1807 John be the other John Hayes? and Married Mary McShane in 1844 in County Armagh. I believe in Loughgal, as found in Church Marriage records at rootsireland.com. They had 8 children acording to the bio of their son James, but the only ones I have information on is James Hayes b. 1847, Mary b 1849 and John Hayes b 1853. James and John moved to America in 1870
John Hayes died 15 August 1889 and his wife Mary McShane Hayes died 1 June 1897. Both died in Loughgal, County Armagh, Northern Ireland.
Their daughter Mary married James Boulding in 1871 in County Armagh, Ireland. She died 31 Dec 1899. John Hayes and Mary Hayes, Mary Boulding and her husband James Boulding and one of there sons are all listed on the same headstone, Mary Boulding had at least 2 children that moved to America and lived with their uncles.
John was a Gardener and taught both of his sons the profession before they moved to America in 1970.
Did John work on an estate ? Or have a florist business? Where are they burried? What church did they mary in? Any tidbit would be appreciated.
i would very much like to find any other information available on the life that John and Mary lived in Loughgal. Including the names of their other Children.
