I am trying to make a solid connection between John Mooney (1833- ) and Winifred (or Mary) Hehir. xoireland.com shows a marriage between similar persons but no further documentation.
John apparently died prior 1850 while enroute to Canada. There may have been fivechildren: Daniel J. (C1835 - 1900); Michael Joseph (1841 - 1902); John Benjamin (1845 - 1927); Mary (1839 - ) and Pat (C1835 - ) All children, except Pat were raised and died in Louisville, Kentucky. Mary Mooney married to John J. Finn (1810 - 1890 and settled in Indianappolis, Indiana. Pat Mooney may not have been a child of this family.
