My 2nd great-grandfather was a Martin Howard b probably around 1800 and we think he was from Athenry....,at least there's a close match in the census fragment of 1821 for that place. His wife's family name was Cusic (Cusack?) His daughter Elisabeth emigrated to Maryland in the 1850s. Most interested to learn more about any Howard's of Athenry.
