I am looking for information on my Great Grandfather, John J Condon and family, he was a farmer, possibly born in Castlelyon in June of 1836. He married Delia Smith in the U.S. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1860 and lived and died in Illinois. He may have had a brother Lawrence J Condon. Unfortunately, his obituary says he was born in Cork in a town called Caste-Line, I cannot find any such town, my guess is that the town was not seen in written form, but rather misheard because he did not read or write. I would appreciate any information.
