John COYNE;born 1866;Cloon townland,Cleggan.(reg.Renvyle 1866);son of Peter and Anne (nee KING) COYNE.John emigrated to Melbourne,colony of Victoria.His ship was the emigrant vessel,'Garonne'.

 John,after initial employment,bought a small farmlet in Beaumaris,a marine suburb and became a milk producer-or so he is described on electoral rolls.He married Honoria KETT,daughter of Denis Kett,of Fanore,cty Clare and had family.John died in Melbourne in 1958.

 John had several sisters some of whom married and  ultimately emigrated to the USA as did his nieces and nephews.John's son Peter,emigrated to New Zealand.Thus the descendents of Peter and Anne Coyne can be found in Ireland,( a number of districts),England,France,the USA (a number of states),Australia and New Zealand.A recent 'zoom' meeting organised by a related family managed to connect this international grouping- a remarkable event.
