John Joseph Moran was born on the 26th of March 1904 in the village of Milltownpass.
He was the son of John Moran and Catherine Whelehan.
John Married Anne Whelehan from Kilyon, Meath in 1930 and they had a number of children.
John passed away 10th August 1972 when doing his usual farming work and is buried in the Milltownpass Cemetery.
