I've been creating my family tree KANE/GUNN on Ancestry,
I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me find information on my 3rd Great Grandparents, maybe even beyond, fingers crossed. My 3rd Great Grandparents are John Kane born 1803 ( may have been spelt Keane ) married 'date unknown' to Catherine Ryan Born 1805. Both listed as residents of Thurles Ireland. Years may not be 100% accurate. Below is all the information I have.
John Kane/Keane, Born Thurles 1803....married.... Catherine Ryan, Born Thurles 1805.
CHILDREN Margaret 1831..Mary 1838 and John born 1835. John moved to Australia, married Ellen Woodruff on the 20/02/1859 In Kyneton Victoria.
They resided in Talbot Street Ballarat and in 19 years they had 10 children .
John died November 1879, Ellen in 1918. All buried at Old Ballarat Cemetery.
I'm struggling to find any information on the two of them. I've looked everywhere, My Heritage, Trove etc,etc, but I've hit a brick wall.
Hopefully someone may have some type of documented information on either of the two of them, and my tree may help other searchers here.
