  • I’m hoping this family is part of my Kelly family. My John Kelly was baptised in Templepatrick moyvore Westmeath c1830. His father was Michael and mother was Catherine née Mahon. Would you know if Timothy and Cecil had other children please? I can’t find any records for my John’s baptism. His father was said to be born in Ardagh Longford so I believe my John was born in Longford but close to the border of Westmeath. This based on his obit which said he was a Longford man. Thanks

  • Good Yule tides to you Lilly. There are no records I have found of siblings for my relative From what I know no. However I have seen lots of information on a Michael and other Kelly's in that area both Catholic and protestant. There are several cemeteries in the area that also have an abundance. Tilth records also. Have you checked with the Moyvore library? They have an amazing genealogy person there. Like I was told on my visits to the area, you can't throw a stone and not hit a Kelly. Good luck on your journey.
