John Kelly was my Great Grandfather.He was born in a place called Clonfane ,parish of Dunmore.I have his baptism and his sibblings .He was born in 1840 although in some records it states 1841.His parents are Michael Kelly and Catherine O'Neill but i can't find a marriage for them or a birth anywhere in Dunmore.I would love to know where the parents came from in Ireland and where they were married.I have been trying to trace them for about 12 years now to no avail.The only Michael and Catherine's marriage I can find is in 1866 .I know these are the wrong ones as they had their first born in 1835 ?Her name was Sarah,Also Bridget b 1836'Patrick 1837,John 1838-1839,John 1840 my g grandfather Who moved to the North East of England when he was a small boy.Michael born 1843 and Mary 1845.They were all born in Clonfane .I hope someone can help me find their parents.I have tried all I can to find them and spent a fortune to no avail.They were Roman Catholics .Thank you and Kind regards to all.

hi i reccomend you take a trip to ballinsloe co.gaway there are loads of kelys there as are mine.

Hi,I know my John Kelly did not come from Ballinsloe.He came from a town called Clonfean and was baptised in the Dunmore RC Parish as his sibblings were aswell.I just can't find where Clonfean was.All I know is that it was a town outside of Dunmore.I would be very Gratefull if anyone can give me any info.Thank you in advance.
