John Kerrigan left home with brother Michael to go to Australia. He was twenty. His father was Thomas Kerrigan and his mother Bridget Lynch, they lived outside Navan at Bohermeen. Bridget is buried at Ardbraccan Church. John was born in 1864 and arrived in Australia in 1885. John was eldest son and left behind brothers Joseph, Christopher abs sisters Mary Ann and Anna I believe.
