Migrated to/Born in Australia
John born 1795 joined the King's Own (4th Regiment) then in the early 1800's he came to Australia on the Ship Parmelia. On that ship whilst remaining with the Regiment he was guarding convicts to Sydney. John remained in Australia with his younger brother William following in his footsteps. It is thought that their father John McCrohon was also in the Army but I can't find any records of this. Any help with further Irish information would be appreciated. I've been search for quite some time.
