Arrived in Colony on the Vessel OCEAN EMPRESS arriving in Sydney on 26th September, 1862. Deposit for John and Johanna, his sister, who travelled with him was paid by their brother, Patrick McInerney on 3rd December, 1861.
Comment: John’s name appears on his mother’s (Bridget) headstone and the name “Ballycally” is also shown. It is interesting to note that John McInerney named his property in Boorowa “Ballycally”.
