I am looking for information on the family of John Murphy born in 1819 in Ireland (information found on his grave) and died on September 1, 1899 in Syracuse (United States), city where he had emigrated around 1840.
On the tree of another genealogist, there is mention of an origin in County Clare but there is no document attesting to this fact. It could also be County Cork.
He married Sarah O'Shaughnessy, an Irish immigrant from County Limerick.
They will have 8 children: Joannah (1847), Mary (1949), Margaret (1851), James (1855), John (1859), Julia (1860), Daniel (1861), William (1862)
