Hi from Brisbane, Australia.
I have Callaghan's in my family tree from Castletownroche and Ballyhooly and Buttevant areas.
They married into the Burke family who eventually made there way to Australia.
My John Callaghan 1814-1863 married Margaret Burke and had 6 children.
The Burke's also married into the Guare family. I'm assuming Guare and Guiry are the same people.
I'm also guessing our people are connected somewhere in there too.
