Anthony Lennon was the son of Thomas Lennon Esq. and wife Judith of Cloncullen, Co Westmeath. His siblings include George Lennon and Christian Newstead Lennon. 

 

In or about 1740, Anthony married Sabina Price, the daughter of Herbert Price of Athlone, CO. Westmeath.  They had 4 children: Herbert Lennon,  Amelia Lennon m. Dr William Moss, Catherine Holmes & Sabina Mecham (1745–1826).

In 1764, William Lennon of Athlone, Gent., died. Admin granted to his Widow Anne Lennon in Jan 1765.

According to 1767 Betham Genealogical Abstracts, Anthony Lennon of  Athlone, Gent, was unmarried in Apr 1767. 

Roscommon Militia

Lieutenant Anthony Lennon joined the Roscommon Militia in 1798; by 1803 he was Quarter Master. Lieutenant Charles Lennon joined in 1809 and Lieutenant Philip Lennon joined 1813.

In 1822, Lt. Anthony Lennon, Quarter Master of Roscommon Staff, was residing at The Crescent BOYLE.
