I appreciate you have written a book, but if you are going to put up an ancestor, it would be polite to put up information about him, not expect people to buy your book to read about him. People aren't going to buy a book just to find out his parents names or to see if they are related.

For anyone seeking information about Luke O'Connor.... to find out if they are related....
Luke O'Connor was born in Kilcroy, Hillstreet, in the parish of Aughrim, Co Roscommon in Ireland. He was born to James O'Connor (born 1800) and Mary Gannon.
Their family were evicted from their farm because they could not afford to pay rent. They moved to North America in 1839.
His father died en route to the US, his mother and baby brother died of Cholera in Quebec.
Luke returned to Ireland as a boy, however, it appears some of his siblings remained in North America and they went on to fight in the American Civil War.
Luke enlisted in the British Army, was in the 23 Regiment of Foot and fought in the Crimea War. He was injured during the Battle of Alma in September 1854, then shot in each thigh during the Battle of Redan in September 1855, which was part of the Seige of Sevastopol. The Victoria Cross was later designed and created, Luke received his in 1856, along with 61 other Crimea War veterans. His VC is on display at the Welsh Fusiliers Museum in Wales.
He died in Clarges Street, London, on 1 February 1915, buried at Kansal Green Catholic Cemetery London.
