Margaret Keys m. Patrick Garland in 1831, Rahan, King's Co. Children: John b. 1832, Mary b. 1833, Frances b. 1836, Anne b. 1838, Joseph b. 1840, James b. 1844, and Ellen b. 1850 (Ellen is unconfirmed, but DNA connects her to her sister Anne, as well as other Keys ancestors from Rahan).
Sisters Ellen and Anne, and mother Margaret moved to New York City in the 1860s. Margaret was likely born around 1809 before baptismal records were kept. Margaret's parents were Mathew Keys and Mary Egan(?). Sister Catherine was born in 1810. The Keys family seemed to be from Killina. Margaret died in 1889 in New York City.
