Margaret was born 11 Feb 1830 in Kilkooney to Patrick Madden & Catherine Kitty Minogue.
At that time the area was part of Galway. She went to America with an aunt & uncle. I believe they came through the port of New Orleans, as the aunt died on the riverboat and was buried in the river. Margaret made her way to Cincinnati where she reconnected with Martin White whom she had know in Ireland. They married 23 Jan 1855 in Cincinnati, the beginning of a life's adventure. Margaret had a brother James who settled in Memphis, Tennessee. Looking for any other family.
