I have no connection to your McGuire/ McCormick family. I have a connection to Emly so looked at the posting. I think Margaret and Johnathon were from the Thurles, Tipperary area. They had at least six children born there per RootsIreland- Cornelius 1837, John 1839, Elizabeth 1841. James 1843, Margaret 1845, and Laurence 1847. Per a tree on Ancestry, they had a daughter Mary born in Boston 1850. I pulled some records from RootsIreland that may apply to your family??
