Looking to try to find the correct Margaret Rabbit to link to - shw ould have been my great grandmother
She emigrated to England and married Patrick Roache. It is possible that they went together as both came from Tuam
They got married in Farnworth and settled in Leigh, Lancashire
Her father was a stonemason and his father was a shepherd. I have got this from their wedding certificate which I got a copy of.
Both appear to have been illiterate so the name may have been corrupted - Rabbett / Roberts etc
