Margaret Revil was born in Ballycullane, Tintern, Wexford, Ireland on 8 Mar 1834 to parents Martin Revil and Judith Purcell. She migrated to Quebec City, Canada where she married Peter Breslin in St. Patrick R.C. Church on 1 Oct 1861. Margaret's husband died 8 1/2 years later leaving her with 2 children- Martin & Winifred. Margaret lived with her sister, Mary Revil Sutton and worked as a laundress to support her children. She died 16 Aug. 1917 and is buried in a pauper's grave in Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
