Maria was baptized in Bruff 22 Nov.1789, She married William Harty from Hospital 27 feb.1816 in Bruff,Grange and Glingora. I have a record for for baptism and their marriage, but have not been able to find a baptism record for William--I have possible dates of 1787 or 1791.His father was Thomas Harty and mother Mary(no last name). Most of their children were baptized in the diocese of Cashel and Emily with their residence listed as Lodge or Hospital. William and Maria and all their children emigrated to USA in 1841.

William had a brother Thomas(circa 1790) and he married Kate Condon but I have no other information about them and as far as I know they stayed in Ireland.

any suggestions for research of William and his brother Thomas would be appreciated.

Have just come across your posting for Maria Gavin (b. 1789).

Most interested in the surname (which is spelt a variety of ways). The surname features in my family tree as Gaven and Garvin, the christian name of the person being Margaret and Mary).

Have you any info on siblings of your Maria? My B(o)urke line were from Cappamore Parish, Co. Limerick, with my g-g-grandfather John B(o)urke being the husband of Margaret Garvin, while my g-uncle names his parents as John Burke and Mary Gaven. I am assuming Margaret/Mary being born late 1700s or early 1800s.
