Do you know the name of his parents? My gg grandmother Honor/ Honora/ Ann was supposed to have been born at Collooney about 1840 to parents Peter Meehan & Mary Golden. She had a brother Michael who died in the USA while Honor immigrated to Queensland in 1864 after she had married a John Barber. John died before they arrived and she married a George Simpson in 1869.

Mark's parents were reportedly John and Catherine. But I have found no proof of that.

As I haven't found his birth or baptism details I also have no idea of his siblings names. He was friends with the Boland family also from the same area.
