Martha was married to Edward CARR in 1832 per a record I found "Public Record Office of Ireland, Diocese of Ossory".
It appears that they emigrated to Canada (Elizabethtown, Leeds County, Ontario) shortly after as their eldest child Eliza is listed on the 1851 Census of Canada as being born in Canada in 1834.
Their other children were: John (1834), Martha (1841), Sarah Jane (1843), Alice A (1843) and Thomas (1848) all born in Canada.
Census indicates they were members of the English Church (Church of England)
Martha pre-deceased Edward on Feb 6, 1875 in Brockville, Leeds County, Ontario. Death Certificate indicates she was born in County Wicklow.
Can anyone tell me where the Diocese of Ossory is, likely town/city?
