Martin emigrated to New York state and lived in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York where he married Alice Gregory and had 7 sons. This family traveled to Adams, Mower County, Minnesota where they lived the rest of their lives. Martin's Will lists numerous siblings who all emigrated, too: Margaret, Mary, Catherine, Winnie and Richard. This Will also names his parents Richard and Catherine McGreevy from Boyd(sp) parish in County Roscommon.
