Marilea,
Glad you found the information useful. I am still looking for information about John's parents in Waterford and if he had any brothers or sisters. Would you like to connect to exchange family info? Thanks.
Kevin
Hello Kevin!
I too am stuck at the point of John's parents being John and Mary. Would enjoy sharing information. Let's connect!
Marilea,
Sounds good, check out my ancestry.com tree of O'Brien's as there are many pictures and docs depending on what you are interested in. I was born in Albany, NY near where John O'Brien and 4 sons were potatao farmers in Pittstown, NY after they emgrated in 1869. My grandfather was the youngest son, Martin, who was born in Ireland that same year. Do you have a tree in ancestry.com that I can look at ? My Dad was James O'Brien, the last son of Martin born in 1918 in Troy, NY. Where are you connected to Martin ? I don't have too much outside of Martin's family past 1940 so I would love to fill in any blanks. I am also in the DNA database at ancestry.com, are you in that too? I would love any old pictures that I don't have. Please let me know what you might be looking for.
Thanks.
Kevin
